Dog Health Problems

hey there people! today my topic is going to be something different. Why? Well all the while here at stay healthy and keeping fit I have always been talking about people’s health problems but not about other kinds of health problems. By other kinds I mean dog health problems. Well the dog is still man’s best friend and if you are a dog owner I presume that you will be nice to animals and treat them with respect. In addition, whenever your dog is sick you will bring the dog to the vet. That should be the way and if you got a pet remember to take good care of it!

More info on the Weslo Cadence Treadmill

Well I think previously I have already talked about the Weslo Cadence Treadmill. I thought that I should elaborate a little bit more on this wonderful treadmill. The Weslo Cadence Treadmill is actually more for the budget conscious. Do you know that the price of a simple such treadmill starts from $300?  Such  a price would most likely include a LCD Screen as well as the EKG heart rate monitor which will allow you to monitor how your body is doing while you are running.  Not everybody will be as lucky as me as I got an opportunity to take this treadmill  for a test drive. I can only say that it has blew me away. Interested to buy a new treadmill? Check out the Weslo Cadence Treadmill and I am sure you will be impressed.

Weight Lifting

Well not many people take weight lifting as an activity to improve on your health but I am sure it keeps you fit! The reason I say that weight lifting does not really make you healthy per se is because you need to know how to lift weights properly if not you may end up damaging your body! This is because you need to maintain a good posture when you lift weights. What I would suggest is that you invest in weight lifting belts that will ensure that you do not hurt your back when you lift weights. I can tell you that some people have mentioned how weight lifting makes them shorter. That is also not surprising since the weights might lead to your spinal discs being compressed too much.

Some running tips

I have already mentioned previously how running can be a very good form of exercise, especially since it can get your heart pumping and give you a good cardio workout as well as giving most of your body muscle groups a good grinding. I have neglected to give you some running tips which would not only help with running on the treadmill but also when you are running on some tracks outside the home. The number one best running tip would be to always keep yourself hydrated. Water is an essential molecule that is needed to expend energy in your body and trust me you would need plenty of water whenever you exercise. For more running tips, do check out my website in time to come…

Need some running shoes for your treadmill?

Well knowing where is the place place to get a treadmill, people have also asked whether it is necessary to get a pair of shoes to run on the treadmill. To put it simply, since the treadmill is already placed in your own home, most people would not be bothered to put on any shoes before they run on the treadmill, unless you are the kind of person who wear shoes at home that is! Well some people do wear some sort of footwear like slippers but shoes? Never heard of. So now that we have come to this topic, I would like to recommend that you get some cross country running shoes and use this when you run on your home treadmill. While treadmills already have built in shock absorption, treadmill running shoes would further protect your sole and also absorb any other kind of shocks.

Yet another Treadmill post

Well in my last post, I talked a little about treadmills and some of the benefits of doing some exercise at home using treadmills. I also introduced a website where you can find some of the good treadmills at great prices. Now there is one brand of treadmills that I have yet to introduce on this staying healthy and keeping fit website of mine. Check out some of the Proform Treadmills from this electric treadmills site and you will realise that Proform treadmills are really not bad! Choose from the folding treadmills that you can fold up and put away when you are not using the treadmill to the more expensive treadmills that come with all sorts of exercise programs including incline training. There is a treadmill for every sort of person there!

Another Treadmill Article

I sidetracked for a while and stopped talking about treadmills and started talking diabetes and blood sugar levels and even yoga. This staying healthy and keeping fit website was originally meant to be talking about cheap and efficient exercise equipment including treadmills. I have mentioned before that running is one of the best exercises that you do to strengthen your body and also to get your heart a good cardio workout. Running on the treadmill does not require good weather and best of all you can do something else like watch television when you are running. If you are looking for a good electric treadmill, do check out the Electric Treadmill Place. I am sure you will find an electric treadmill that you like there.

Juicing up that machine…

Well the doctors probably told you how important it is to take your fruits and vegetables. I did also hear somewhere that drinking homemade juices is the next best thing to drinking your mother’s milk. Well I guess if you need to make your own juices, you would need to get a juicer machine. Even though you can just buy some fruit juices off the shelf in the supermarket or the grocery store, there is actually the other alternative of  juicing and making your own smoothies from fresh fruits and vegetables that you pick out yourself. There are of course many benefits that you can get from drinking juices that you make at home. Such fruits and vegetables are freshly squeezed at home and they will give you plenty of nutrients such as vitamins, minerals, proteins, carbohydrates, enzymes, amino acids, chlorophyll as well as phytochemicals.

Another weight loss article

I think that I have already mentioned how people choose to lose weight and the many different ways for which it can be done. Weight loss can be a chore for some people while to others it seems pretty easy. Sometimes I am mystified by the difference. But there is something that I would like to caution people about yet again. Always remember that natural weight loss is the way to go. What I am talking about here is losing weight through healthy eating and dieting and exercising. If you think you can grab some weight loss pills from the pharmacy or doctor then you are very wrong. Such pills may do more harm than good to your body.

Eat right and exercise

So if you have got diabetes, most likely you would be having a higher than normal blood sugar level. The question I left in my blog for my previous post was to ask what are the normal blood sugar levels. The blood sugar concentration or blood glucose level  is the amount of glucose  (sugar) present in the blood. The mean normal blood glucose level in humans is about 4 mM (4 mmol/L or 72 mg/dL). This can fluctuate during the day, for example it can rise after meals but is usually lowest in the morning, before the first meal of the day. When the blood sugar level is above the normal range, this is known as hyperglycemia. When you do have diabetes it is important that you get ready your diabetic menus and exercise more to use more sugar.
